Due to recent flooding at
Angle Park course we have changed to Homestead Park at Chipping
Norton.
Please drive to Chipping
Norton as per usual, turn onto Ascot Drive, continue straight
ahead onto Homestead Avenue and veer right continue until you
see this toilet jail block, turn left before it just here and continue to
the back of the carpark and park your car. You have arrived!

To be eligible for Handicap and Fastest awards on this Open
Day, competitors must have competed
in their nominated division on 2 prior occasions.
Awards will be presented to Male & Female Fastest in each
division, and for 1st, 2nd, 3rd for
Combined Handicap winners in each division. Winners of a Fastest
award cannot win a Handicap
award.

CANBERRA FEDERATION CHAMPIONSHIPS
Lake Burley Griffin Carnival at Stromlo Forest Park,
Canberra
This annual carnival is held each year over the Queens
Birthday Long Weekend in June in Canberra. It is Australia’s
largest walking carnival and is a must on most walkers’
calendars, with over 300 walkers competing in a variety of
events. RWA Championships are held from U10 through to Masters.
You MUST be a currently registered walker with NSWRWC to enter
these championships.
Entries close ONLINE 25th MAY, 5pm Sharp, NO LATE
ENTRIES will be accepted

REMEMBER:
Age for all Race Walking Australia events is
age-on-the-day, and for Athletics ACT Championships is age on 31
December 2022.
And You MUST be a currently registered walker with NSWRWC to
enter these championships and wear our club uniform.
